There are many different types of VM cylinder heads for the 2 valve per cylinder and the 4 valve per cylinder engines for both indirect and direct injection fuel systems. There are water-cooled VM cylinder heads for both the 92mm and 94mm versions, industrial types differing from the marine and automotive versions. 4V per cylinder VM automotive heads are a one piece head whereas the 2V per cylinder head is used in the unitary design 3,4,5 and 6 cylinder versions. Valve seat angles differ between various applications.
